Re: Do you avoid your friends when you know that they have a cold?
Of course, you'd have to be pretty damn stupid to voluntarily step into an infectious environment...
your immunesystem starts with your senses , you smell acrid smoke, you move away, you taste arsenic you spit it out, you hear someones ill, you stay away from them. -
Re: Do you avoid your friends when you know that they have a cold?
im sooooo suceptible to colds !! i dont have to be even that near or in diret contact with and boom i got swollen glands .... and going down hill .....and BOOOM ive got a full on cold . its ridiculous . i wouldnt want my friends avoiding me , but then i wouldnt want to make them ill either, unlesss you're feeling vengeful in which case invite them round via text and hug 'em then y'all suffer together.
i think friends have to make the decisive decision to stay away from you until its gone because colds can be with one for a while.
hope you feel better -

No, I go out of my way to lick their faces.
Oh look at that. I think I'm coming down with something. *cough* -
Re: Do you avoid your friends when you know that they have a cold?It is if you have nasal polyps even with a daily steroid spray its had to breath for about a month after a cold. Plus minor infections might cause autoimmune disorders like MS so I think they should be taken seriously.(Original post by Helenia)
No, not really. I'm just as likely to catch a cold on the Tube or from one of my patients, and a cold's hardly the end of the world.
