Does anyone know about Horwood X block?
Hi, I received an email yesterday which says that I got allocated to Horwood X, traditional block.

I searched about it on this site and only could find some sort of not that good remarks about it!

To what extend are the all talkings true?

Hello! I'm a resident support assistant at keele next year and I haven't heard a bad word about that block! Horwood is a great place to be, it's 2 minutes from the union and the library, 5 minutes to most lectures and keele hall is a minutes walk away if you want to enjoy the calm!
Horwood had a great community feel this year and it's a really popular choice for returning students too. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time - its great to be in a standard block as you'll get to meet lots of people from different places.
If you have any other questions, let me know

Hi, are you a returning student or starting fresh in September?

I haven't been inside X Block, but I have Y, which is obviously next to it. If it's the same, it has flats of 6 rooms, sharing a kitchen, two toilets, bath and shower. The rooms aren't huge, but they are not tiny either, and you get plenty of drawers/shelves. It is also about the closest accommodation block to the SU/library, which is an advantage.
