    Looking for a laptop
    No more then £700

    Minimum of i5 3210 cpu
Gpu no less than nvidia gt 650m gddr5 version
    and a 1080p screen
    15", or 17"
    no blue ray required
    4gb ram or above preferably
with windows 7 but can do without the os if neccesary.

Atm i have seen laptops such as this
http://www.medion.com/gb/electronics...&view=pictures, but it lacks a full hd display and gddr5 version for the 650m.

    And http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusIII-17/

Possible getting it for £700 or under, seen a few examples but either lack one or two features.
    Thanks.

You've pretty much covered the only options I think but for the medion, if you can slightly go over budget (£749) you can get a 1080p display but again I think it's the gddr3 version.

I would say your best bet would be to go for the optimus III.

Yes i have seen the £749 option but its over budget and also overpriced as its the gddr3 version and has a blue ray which i don't need as it just adds to the price.

I will probably going with the optimus but just looking if there are any alternatives.

Btw if you're thinking of getting the Optimus III with the i7-3610qm then be prepared to wait a while as apparently they have a backlog of orders and are finding it difficult sourcing the processors.

    You realise theres no OS?

I would go for the i7, but not sure on whether the better graphics card will make a difference.

Yes realize their is no os, both got same gpu, just have got 8gb ram on the 2nd build and only 4gb on 1st build, just unsure weather i would actually need an i7 for gaming on bf3 and mw3 and those types of games

unlikely, I really dont like the laptop version of an i5, cos its only got 2 real cores and 4 threads. I often think at one point you'll need 4 real cores.
Recommended specs would be 4gb, quad core processor, gtx560+ for BF3.
The 4 threads will compensate definitely.

650M will struggle with bf3 on high settings

650m will work great in a combo of high /mid settings and ill try it on both 1080p and 900p and see which i am comfortable with, just a decision between the i5 and i7

how would the i7 4 cores actually help me im not to wised up on cpu that much

Some games utilise 4 cores............but the i5 laptop version has 4 threads, which are essentialy virtual so 2=4 cores.

So I don't it should matter too much.

Well on the standard laptop resolution its 32 fps on bf3, its 14 on top settings and full hd.

MW3 will cope fine..........you should also consider a cooling pad, graphics card when used for gaming on laptops give off serious heat.

edit: press quote, so I know your replying to me

    .

Ok  i am thinking maybey 1 of these 2 laptop cooling pads, which would you reccomend me and what major difference would they bring.

    Zalman ZM-NC3000S or Zalman ZM-NC2000

Edit : From googling reviews i think the 2000 is a much better cooler.

Btw if i didnt have a cooler what temps would i get without and with one with the gpu

    Zalman ZM-NC2000 £39

Thats the price its quoting me, i could mabey find it cheaper from somewhere else.
the first one seems better than the second, seems good, with that big of a fan underneath it.

Have a look at this one too mate:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/244041-coolerm...FRMgtAod2gESRQ

Has three fans which you can move to better position them under the vents etc, read a lot of good reviews about it
