    Breathing Issues
First of all, I've been to the doctors, he tested my breathing and said it was ok, just a bit wheezy and done nothing about it except to use my inhaler properly
I'm an asthmatic, I don't smoke. My breathing has gotten significantly worse gradually over the past month, it's come to the point where I'm now out of breath and coughing all the time. Taking a puff of my inhaler is not reliving the symptoms.

I really don't know what's going on, I feel like absolute crap. Please give me some advice.

I can't offer any advice I'm afraid but if it helps I'm asthmatic and I've struggled for the past few weeks. I've gone from using my reliever twice a week to twice a day! I think there's something in the air! I've also developed a chesty cough that's making me feel lousy. Where abouts in the country are you, if you don't mind me asking? Just wondering it it's a similar area to me! (north derbyshire)

I've found calling the asthma UK nurses helpful in the past for bits of advice, so maybe you could try giving them a ring? The number is 0800 121 62 44. The whole AUK website is actually pretty good- asthma.org.uk

I haven't seen anyone recently but it sound slike most asthmatics are finding it hard atm. I think it's just a grim and bare it situation! (But it got me out of doing the dusting today so every cloud has a silver lining and all that!)

Hope you feel better pm me if you want to chat

I don't have asthma but I have hayfever and get a chesty cough and feel rough when it is bad and it really has been for the last week or two. I think it is some kind of pollen... I have no idea but all the plants are messed up because of the strange weather so maybe a pollen we're not used to. Thought it may might make you feel a little more at ease to know a non-asthma sufferer is also finding the same thing.
