    Does anyone feel here that one person has had a negative impact on their uni lif
    For me its a member of our friendship group - Just a horrible, c0cky, slimey boy who seems to have all my other friends in his pocket

    I'm starting uni in September, but I have experienced this at Sixth form. It was just one cocky arrogant little prick who seemed to mess things up. He also seemed to have my other friends in his pocket.

    Yeah, some people that I fell out with in halls seemed to spread a bit of hate for me... To the point that they turn their noses up when they see me and make a point to make things difficult if they see me in the library (you don't generally sit opposite someone you don't like, right?). I try to ignore it - they're mostly cooped up in their flat/hall anyway.
