When do men go bald?I'm really worried about going bald. Particularly since reading this http://www.dearcupid.org/question/my...nd-i-hate.html
But, my father is bald. My brother is going bald. My brother is two years older than me and you can tell he is going bald. His hair is receding pretty badly. I'm 23 now and it seems my hair is fine. I'm mixed race and seem have gotten my mothers hair. Like I have white hair that is straight, my brother has curly black hair.
I have really straight white peoples hair, so surely I won't go bald. But, my sister said it looks like I'm going bald. Was wondering am I being trolled. I got my haircut about a month ago to about grade 3.
My hair has always been like that. But, then my sister said that is the first stage of baldness. My brother was going bald when he was about 19.Last edited by Simplicity; 13-07-2012 at 01:44. -

Re: When do men go bald?Although nobody in my family has gone bald early I am always afraid I might especially considering the fact that I always have HOT showers. I'd hate to get a receding hairline early
They say grey hair adds character to men, I always worry that I might not get to that stage

I know someone who is really short, but has really great hair. He is going bald. -

Re: When do men go bald?DHT attacks the hair follicles and stops them regrowing over time. Your hair is like mine, i.e thick and I still have a lot left but have notices light recession. There's not a lot you can do, just luck(Original post by Simplicity)

Re: When do men go bald?Ultimately, there is no reason why men go bald. It is normal and it happens to primates. One thing is well known and that is that it appears to be hereditary.
