Re: Wrinkle cream at 21?This.(Original post by (Bored))
At this age the best thing you can do to prevent wrinkles is don't smoke, avoid the sun (never go on sunbeds!), wear a facial spf at all times outdoors, and have a good skin routine morning and night (cleanse, tone and moisturise).
Retinol is the only skin care ingredient that has been shown to be effective clinically. Not everyone gets on with it and not all formulations contain the same concentration or forms. Bored is right. The best thing you can do it protect your skin from sun damage and not smoke. -
Re: Wrinkle cream at 21?
I'm 21 and I've started using Lacura's Q10 anti-wrinkle night cream - the £3 'cult' product from Aldi. It smells gorgeous and, so far, hydrates my skin amazingly without being greasy at all. I'm slightly paranoid about lines on my forehead as I raise my eyebrows a lot and lines around my mouth, so hoping those will improve after further use.
I use Nivea's Q10 eye roll-on as well which does a great job of de-puffing my eyes early in the morning but hasn't massively improved the dark circles under my eyes which I've been genetically blessed with. I heard Eysilix eye cream is great for that so I'll try it once I can afford it.
). I get bags under my eyes and it definitely reduces them!
