    Prior experience & GCSE resits...
    Hi there,

I am hoping to apply for a Primary PGCE (KS2) next year (Sept 2013), but I'm a little unclear on two points...

Experience-wise, I have been offered voluntary experience of one day (two in total) a week at two different schools to start this coming September. The problem is, I want to amass as much experience as possible before sending off my application. Is it best to get my application knocked up ASAP with the slant, "I am still gaining experience..."; or is it better to wait till December/January, when not only will I have amassed the necessary experience, but may have been invited back for the following term?

Next question: I'm also taking GCSE equivalency tests next July, which are 'hosted' by Brighton University, and so I won't have the results in time to apply for a place at either Sussex or Brighton Unis. Thus, is it best to write 'pending' for the results of these GCSEs in the hope that they'll give me an offer on condition I gain a C or above?

    Thanks in advance,

    Graham x

for the experience its best to write that you have experience planned and get your application in early it doesn't matter that much if you don't have the experience before you apply as long as you have it before you are interviewed.
