Not Guilty because he had multiple character witnesses saying he wasn't racist, Anton Ferdinand followed him round insulting him, however John Terry responds it goes to court, and the fact that Anton decided that it wasn't racist both on the pitch and in the dressing room when they met, it was only later the complaint was made.

Fair enough. He was probably guilty, but I think there was a reasonable doubt that he wasn't.

personally I don't really like John Terry anyway.
What the hell has this got to do with anything. You would want someone get a criminal record and potentially prison for a crime they may or may not have committed.

    Disgusting.

    So its official then:

No longer racist to call someone a black ****
his argument was that he was merely repeating the the phrase in reference, by your logic, having just posted that, are you a racist?

Well if you have been following it all you would know his defence, which seemed reasonable given quite a few other things, was he said that sarcastically back to Anton after he had thought he had said it to him first. Ferdinand didnt hear him say it, and lipreaders could not be sure of the cont6ext of what was said, thus you cannot find him guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

This is what happens when you allow the case to dealt with by a proper court (Which sentences people on reasonable doubt) and not a kangaroo court.

Luis Suarez would of got off in a proper court case as well.

Prison? lol, the maximum sentence is a £2,500 fine. The equivalent of 2 and half hours wages.

The loss to his reputation will be a lot more and will affect him not just monetarily but socially. I do take your point that the fine would be very insignificant to him but it will set a precedent for ordinary people to be taken to court just for being accusing someone of being a racist, WITHOUT PROPER EVIDENCE!
