I'm applying post A level - does anyone know if I retake an AS module for a subject I don't study at A2 and my AS grade changes are universities allowed to ask what my original grade was??? I presume not as that would be asking for additional information from some applicants but not others.

It depends if you've got the grade by the time you apply. If you are planning to retake it but haven't done so when you apply, you have to put down the original grade and then the qualification a second time for January 2013 or whenever and the grade as "pending". If you've retaken the exam already and got the new grade, you only need put the new grade, but you have to put the qualification date so they will see you didn't take it at the same time as your other exams.

I've retaken it already, but if they see I've taken it after my other exams can they ask about the grade pre resit? I'm pretty sure they are not supposed to use extra information for some applicants and not for others

I resat one of my A2 modules but didn't update the grade to pending on track and now it is frozen until results day, will this affect my acceptance into uni? What should I do?
