what are the stupidest transfer rumours you have ever heard?
simple thread , what are the most stupid transfer rumours you have ever heard?

read this one in match magazine a few weeks ago that Micah Richards was going to join Everton , no disrepect to Everton but would you really leave the premier league champions were you have played a big role to join any other team in the premier league.

Micah Richards didn't play a big role at all - he barely played

Read this on goal.com: Anzi made a bid of €87 million for hulk but it didn't happen as Porto were being a bit greedy and were seemingly asking for a little bit more.

EDIT - Found the article: http://www.goal.com/en/news/553/russ...ning-of-portos

It'll be hard to ever top Carles Puyol to Newcastle in a swap deal with Steven Taylor going to Barcelona.

I heard Andy Carroll was going to go to Liverpool for £35,000,000. Hilariously, this one turned out to be true.

Ronaldinho was linked to Villa once. I've always hung onto it, in the hope one day it might come true..

He played in the 'big' games towards the end of the season - Micah Richards was our first choice right back this season.

Micah Richards got injured towards the end of the season. When Richards was back fit Zabaleta was in superb form and couldn't be dropped. We're gifted with two outstanding RB's, Everton got priced out of Rodallega by Fulham, they won't be seeing Richards in an Everton kit any time soon.

Re: what are the stupidest transfer rumours you have ever heard?
The Thiago Silva & Zlatan bid from PSG for €65m, especially when Milan rejected €45m for Silva alone. That means Milan value Silva at, let's say, at least €50m, which means Ibra is only €15m. He's old and all, but really? And it could be even less than that.

But apparently that's really happening now, go figure. Surprised City haven't tired to intervene.
