    which unis care about GCSEs?
im hoping to read economics at uni but feel my GCSEs may let me down.

    i got 3 A*'s 7 A's and 2 B's

i was wondering which uni's will look at my GCSEs and give me a straight rejection. im hoping to average around 90 ums in AS and will be applying to a russel group unis.

while i realise they all care about GCSEs im wondering which ones us them to reject people.

i've heard Durham LSE Warwick and Nottingham have a reputation for doing this

Often popular russel group unis such as the ones you have stated state gcse requirements on their websites. Often these will consist of A* in maths but sometimes they give quantities. I would look at the uni entry requirements and if your gcses are lower I would not apply as unis often use this as the first way to separate candidates before going on to look at AS results, predicted grades and personal statements.

I wouldn't worry about it, those GCSEs look pretty good to me!
