    love film or netflix
I'm not sure if this is the right forum so tell me if its not and I will see if I can move it.

I'm thinking about getting a subscription for either netflix or love film but I cannot decide on which one. I prefer watching films than tv shows and love film is a £1 cheaper. Could someone please give me advice on which one to choose.

I'm a current Lovefilm subscriber and did a 30 day trial of Netflix (about a month or two ago). When I tried Netflix their library was rather small, although the service itself seemed decent enough. Lovefilm offers both streaming and DVD/Blu-ray rentals by post, and have a huge library when you include their DVD/Blu-ray collection. I would say go with Lovefilm, but they both do free 30 day trials, so why not try both and see what you think?

Netflix is absolutely crap, their selection is so limited and I have never heard of half of their films
I was going to try love film but I think they mainly post DVDs to you, which I didn't want. For some of their most recent films you have to pay to watch them online but Netflix is completely free

Netflix is something like £6 a month, not free.

The only real good thing I've seen on there is the programme your sig is from.
Maybe that's because I've seen all the other good TV shows before though. Their film selection is abysmal.

I have netflix, its good but it uses all your internet data quite a lot so if you have limited data avoid netflix

They're both extremely limited compared to what happens in the US.

However, Lovefilm has a much wider library, but more for films, while Netflix pwns LF if you want to watch a series of something.

Lovefilm all the way: get games and dvd's by post, or watch dvds online, with a HUGE selection.

netflix on the other hand i didn't like due to the small library, i only ended up watching power rangers and devil may cry and just stopped, nothing else was good there

Well yeah, there's Breaking Bad of course, but I thought there were plenty of good films, too.

They both have free trials so why don't you try them both out and keep a tally of which one has more of the things you want to watch?

Instant streaming is better on netflix, but with love film you get games/dvd/blurays from the post, personally think love film is way better if you don't have streaming as a high priority and if you want to game(saves me a fortune), they have a huge library of dvds/blurays and all the best games.
