I'm really nervous! I feel confident about getting As my languages, but I'm so nervous about my politics. I need a B to get into my firm and I could so easily get a C!!!

im defo confident, once you've actually done all the past papers for each subject hundreds of times, it just becomes simple logic in the exam. was stressful at the start but bit by bit i actually could do a whole paper within 10-25 mins getting over 80% and in some cases getting full marks, seriously a-levels are just about revising and learning mark schemes even though i **** around in college with mates i still pull out with great grades.

I did that too, woke up thinking "bugger! failed maths that's it now, end of the road for me.....hang on...nevermind "
 exam results day is messing with our brains. I actually believed for a few minutes that I did physics...

If you've done a paper many times and then you just repeat it again then how can you not get 100%? :lolwut:

Preparing for the worst as I feel being pessimistic and being happily surprised is better than being optimistic and being disappointed XD

But if you're tricking yourself into thinking you did badly just to make it easier then surely you know you're just tricking yourself so it doesn't really work? I.e. you have an actual feeling on how you did rather than just feeling pessimistic almost 'for the sake of it'.

I'm preparing myself for the worst which is rather bad but I'm hopeful one day and then the next feeling I did really bad. A bit like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde then? Aha

I have a bad habit of thinking it's gone really well and actually doing terribly, and vice versa. So right now I'm trying to convince myself I've failed, seems to have worked in the past :P

Confident with Psychology but with both Biology and Physics I'm expecting 1 mark in it, could go either way

I genuinely have no idea. I do essay subjects and I did that thing where your mind goes blank and you just 'blag it'.

Now I just have to wait and see if it was good blagging or if I wrote a bunch of nonsense :/
I wish results day would come quicker, I need to know!
I feel half the questions I did in my geography exam I blagged it - my mind went blank for some of the questions. Frustratingly, after the exam and talking to people the answer was pretty straight forward :unimpressed:

Currently, I am just trying not to think about results day, but inevitably I always end up thinking about it. I think it could go either way, hopefully it will go the way I want

I resat the entirety of year 12 biology and psychology alongside doing the year 13 topics and year 13 english language, because I was determined not to have to retake year 12 and stick around at home for an extra one - some pretty good motivation right there, I worked my arse off this year after having ****ed up AS. But it was a whole lot of work and I was really ill during some of the resits, so I keep swinging between 'I must made it' and '****, I totally didn't make it'. I guess in the end, even if I didn't make it and end up resitting year 13, I knew at the start that trying to avoid having to stay in sixth form for an extra year was a longshot. I'm just terrified if I do have to retake year 13, I won't get another offer from Exeter (been my first choice Uni since I started researching them during GCSE's). I need ABB.

That sounds so hard, I'm glad I only had to do FM in a year to make uni now, and that seemed like a killer at times. I hope you get the grades you need from all the work.
