Re: Petition to do something about the weatherYou quite clearly are taking offence fair enough you didn't find it amusing no need to get so wound up over it though? And as for this 'barrage of silly petitions' please this is my first petition and its by no means the worst so I really don't get why you're taking such offenif it makes any difference I apologise and it won't happen again.(Original post by thunder_chunky)
I'm not taking offence I just think that you're wasting everyone's time with your barrage of silly petitions. And "tounge in cheek" is supposed to be at least partially amusing or clever, this is not. Petitions were created more for people who aren't in or associated with the MHoC, it gives them an idea of how things work and maybe interests them enough to join. What you're doing is just abusing it and it's lame. Do everyone a favour and knock it off. -
Re: Petition to do something about the weatherI'm really not taking offence. You would really have to try a lot harder to offend me. I'm simply fed up of meaningless petitions. That isn't why they were brought in.(Original post by cl_steele)

Re: Petition to do something about the weatherYes... Meaningful issues(Original post by RoryS)
Can we try to make petitions more meaningful?
Have a look at the real life Government's petitions website: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/
These should be the pressing issues that we should begin to discuss, or find a way to make our petitions from non-MPs more like this.
