Queen Mary's College, for an international student
    Hi all,

I'm from America, and I am thinking about studying abroad (in London) for next semester. I want to study at Queen Mary's.

So, I want to know anything you all can tell me about it. Is it rigorous? What is the social life like there? (very important) Is it in a good place to have fun and meet other people? What's the general vibe?

    Thanks.

Rigour depends on the subject, but in general - yes.

The social life is pretty decent. Whilst societies are a little thing on the ground, normally you'll socialise with course mates and flat mates. There is plenty to do on or around campus as well as in Central London.

It's a great base from which to see London, and the country. It gives you the security of a campus with the flexibility to go out elsewhere.

What college do you study at in America?

(Oh...and this is such a little thing but always bugs me it is Queen Mary, not Queen Mary's.)
