dsa and dyspraxia and adhd assessment
i have applied for dsa for dyspraxia, adhd and m.e. my adhd and dyspraxia have not been assessed since before i was 16 because of this i need them reassessed however i have spoke to my gp who is saying because i have already been diagnosed there is nothing they can do, i have also spoke to the doctor(at child guidance) who diagnosed me who has said he can not re assess me as i am too old but told me of a place on the nhs i could go to to get it done, i phoned this place who said they would do it however after my appointment with them they are now saying they can't do anything and to see my gp.
i can't afford to get the reassessment done myself however i recieved a letter today from dsa saying that if i don't get the reassessment they will only give me dsa for my m.e however this letter now states i don't need a reassessment just a letter from my gp stating my disablity.
has anyone else had trouble getting a reassessment or know anywhere i can get it done?
    thanks

As far as I am aware only an educational psychologists report needs to be updated if it was done before the age of 16. Medical evidence doesn't fall under this rule. Ask the person who advised you to read the rules again.
