    UNITE moving in day(s)
    Hi

This may sound like a bit of a silly question but I have accepted an offer in halls that are ran by UNITE in Plymouth. My tenancy starts on the 6th of September but I won't be able to move in until the following Thursday. They wouldn't take issue with that would they? I only ask because I know that UNITE are a little strict on things, or so I have heard.

I moved in a couple of days after my tenancy started and no one made a fuss, however this was in Sheffield.

    Hi domtill,

My names Frankie, I work for UNITE.

I'm here to give help and advice to TSR users with accommodation through UNITE whilst they are at University.

I noticed your post and thought a response might be helpful, there’d be no issue with you checking in a week later than your tenancy starts in September. As jelly1000 mentioned above, your rent would start from the 6th, but you’re more than welcome to arrive after that.

Assuming your booking is complete you’ll receive an email on the 1st of August detailing everything you need to know about check in.

In the meantime, if you want to let the team at your halls know you’ll be moving in the following Thursday then let me know the name of the halls you’ve booked in Plymouth and I can PM you the telephone number.

    I hope this helps,

    Frankie

    Hi Zactag,

Great to hear you’re all booked up at Central Point.

We have various different payment options that we can discuss with you depending on your situation, the best way to do this is to give us a call on our free phone number and speak to our accounts team, the number is 0800 783 4213.

They’ll be able to talk through your choices.

    I hope this helps,

    Frankie

    A fellow Plymouth goer!

I wouldn't think it matters when you move in, as long as they get paid. My tenancy starts on the 8th, and I don't plan to move in until the 9th.
