Domain Names
Okay so I'm about to buy one... but once I've bought it... I have no idea how to actually attached to the already online site, being hosted on a free site.
I know this is vague, which is very annoying, but I don't really know what information to give in order for you guys to help me. I know a lot of websites will have the option built into the site itself to buy one there and then, but on this site it doesn't exactly work that way. -
Re: Domain Names
Some free hosts may not allow you to have your own domain, it might be wise to check. If they do, then they should have nameservers (check their website) to allow for custom domains. You simply enter the nameservers in your domain host's settings and point the domain towards the free host and then configure the domain on the free host end - could be as simple as entering the domain name and pressing enter. There should be instructions on the free host website.
