I've posted before about getting a very short haircut, and I think I'm going to go for it in the next couple of weeks. I think I want to take a picture into the hairdressers because I usually struggle to describe how I want my hair. So, can any of you post some good pictures of cropped hairstyles for women? Emma Watson, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan have all had similarly cropped hair in the past, so googling them could help. I think Carey's in particular looked so lovely.

Hmm yeah, it's weird because men often complain that women spend too much time getting ready etc., but short hair is much lower maintenance! I don't care what they think anyway haha

I agree, Carey Mulligan looks great with her short brown hair. Or Victoria Beckham and Keira Knightley. Also, search 'pixie hair' in google and you'll get a lot.

I think short hair really suits some people, it's such a statement when you do cut it short. I think men probably want to touch the hair!

I've just been having a look at these- some nice styles there. I've had long hair for a while & am seriously tempted to get it cut short- just want to try out a different look.

Audrey Hepburn had an awesome pixie cut. I've had just about every variation on a pixie as it's possible to have, I had an amazing hairdresser for a couple of years who would just use me as a bit of a Girls World head as I let him have free rein!

I'm growing it out now but got nothing but compliments when it was short, even converted some long hair only men to short hair (not even in a romantic way, they just really liked me with short hair).
