Me & my ex 'unfriended' one another on facebook to help get some distance between us, but I can't help checking up on her facebook wall every so often to see how she is.

I can read everything, from her status' to other people leaving wall posts but my friend who isn't friends with her either on there, can only read her status'?

Has she deliberately clicked something to enable just me to access everything on her wall? Or is this not possible? I realise this isn't exactly a major problem, I'm more intrigued if anything as to why she's done it.

Well you can, but is doesn't mean she did it on purpose, she just may have low privacy settings on Facebook which mean anyone can see her posts.

Yeah but my friend can't see certain things that I can, just found it odd. Although we do have lots of mutual friends so perhaps that's why. I know you can let "friends of friends" see photos and stuff.

if you block her on facebook you wont be able to see any of her posts

privacy settings>blocked people and apps> then type in her name and it will block her and you wont see anything of hers (post wise)

EDIT: just realized I didn't answer your question but here is now to block her

although if you block her she wont be able to see your posts and you wont be able to see hers. so yes you can block certain people from reading your posts

It is a possibility she wants you to see it! She's probably looking at yours too. Though I have to say, I don't think it's very healthy checkin her Facebook, especially since you two agreed to unfriend each other. Though I have to say I'm also guilty of the same thing ha ha!

Don't, I know it's hard but just don't do it.

Seriously, I fell into this trap but once you snap out of it you feel like you are free or something weird, all you're going to do is prolong any feelings you ahve left.

OP LISTEN UP!

a) stop reading into this in the hope that somehow there is meaning behind your 'ex's' actions.

b) stop checking your ex's facebook page- it wont help you to get over her.

c) YES. There is a setting which enables mutual friends to see your profile but not strangers. So for example, if you share a friend, then you would be the 'mutual friend' and so could see her facebook.
