Can anyone recommend a good book on how to write an undergraduate dissertation?
I'm entering my third year of my biology degree and I'm doing a lab project in population ecology.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good book that will give me some advice on how best to write my dissertation. Alternatively, any online resources could also prove useful.

    Thanks

IMO best thing really is to go through the ones available in the library and see which one you prefer... it's pretty unlikelyt they're going to suggest anything radically different to each other so it's a matter of what style you prefer.

also have a chat with your subject librarian if you have one... they typically have masters or higher and are brill at academic writing.

you could get how to write about biology - my uni recommended it however I didnt use it.

alternatively you could do what I did (I got a first for mine this way), just write it in the style of a journal - you aren't expect to have a journal level of writing until PhD level so it really impresses them. Hope it helps.
