    Eye Colour and Beauty/Attractiveness?
    Hey Guys;

Well, after making my thread on whether or not people would like to change their eye colour to blue (which didn't get much of a great response), I thought I would make a thread based on eye colour itself and its affect on people in terms of fashion and if it has any significant impacts at all to you as a person or how you look at people (pun intended).

After making a thread based on favourite eye colour as well (ages ago), I got curious as to how people view their appearance on something such as eye colour.

Don't know quite why I have this fascination with eye colour but still, it does indicate that some people find certain eye colours desirable and I would like to know why. =P

My eyes I just took a pic of:

Ignore the brown bit in my right eye, that is the reflection of my desk. :unimpressed:

Also, I significantly cropped as much as I could because, well, I am not to pleased about my own appearance.

I'll post a pic after I've made my food and can be bothered but I have quite blue eyes that go a really really bright blue after I cry and people always compliment me on how nice my eyes are.

It doesn't affect me other than that, other than sometiems I buy t shirts that match the colour of my eye, because it brings my eye colour out a lot and then I get even more compliments. Sad I know :P

The best photo of my eyes is..

Sorry they're so stare-y, my friend and I were doing a photo-shoot in a disused quarry, so I had to look creepy.
My eyes don't affect me an awful lot.. I quite often get told I have nice eyes, but they've also been called 'weird' as I have a gold ring around my pupils.

As for eye colours I like, I suppose it depends. My boyfriend has blue eyes and really dark brown hair, which looks so good together.

Mine used to be a dark blue but they've faded to this grey colour, although they look more blue if I wear blue clothes. :P

To be honest I don't really pay attention to eye colour unless it's something really striking and rare (like dark skin and blue eyes).

There is nothing more threatening than a picture of just a set of eyes. Nothing.

Some lovely eyes in this thread

I haven't got any photos right now but people say mine are really blue. I love blue eyes! Well I love all eye colours because they all look beautiful in their own way, but I prefer blue eyes on boys :P

Eye colour is the first thing I notice about a person, I remember everyone's eye colour. I was so shocked when one of my best friends who I've known for ten years asked me "what's your eye colour again?"!

Nice eyes can change literally everything. I could (and have done) fancy a girl based on her eyes alone.

i don't think eyes play that much in attractiveness, i never notice them unless they are really distictive or nice... but if a guy didn't have amazing eyes it wouldn't matter in the slightest.

To me they don't really play a big part, unless they really stood out or something. It all depends on the shape of ones eyes, and how they suit a face; this can certainly alter how aesthetically pleasing someone is

Well for me a big factor that gives a good attraction to a woman or a man is when he or she had long eyelashes.

I always notice girls with nice eyes, I would prefer mine to be more blue, like piercing ice blue, its cool. They're a bit plain

I have dark brown eyes and I'm proud of them :unimpressed: even if blue or green are supposedly "prettier."

For me, eye colour is irrelevant when it comes to judging how nice someone's eyes are. It's the shape, the line, the brow, and most importantly, the person themselves. The most beautiful eyes are the ones with warmth and a good heart behind them.

Apparently, when people are shown pictures of eyes only, those judged to be the most attractive have dilated pupils. Apparently your pupils dilate when looking at someone you fancy. This would also seem to support the theory I've had for many years that knowing that someone likes you makes you more likely to like them...

Sorry, that doesn't seem particularly relevant. I was reminded of it as you're asking about attractive eyes.
