Re: Anybody starting this Uni in September
Hey Scoote, Hows it going.
Ive decided to go for the Open degree pathway as im looking to major in networking.
Satrting off with the T100 followed by Microsoft server technologies (T128) and Technologies in Practice (TM129)
At stage 2, I'll be doing my Cisco CCNA (T126) followed by Communication & Information Technologies (T215).
At stage 3, Well im still waiting word back from the Head of I.T to see if can complete my degree with Cisco's CCNP which is actually a post grad course at 120 points. Im in the final stages of completing my CCENT here so by the time that comes around i should have passed the CCNA through my degree and obtained the actual certification leaving me ready for the CCNP. If not, im struggling to find appropriate modules to complete. I'll be doing the final project and something else which i cant remember right now but apart from that, im not sure t.b.h
Cant wait to get going come October

I'm from manchester Darren, would be nice to keep in touch with some people starting the Computing & IT course in October.
I downloaded the M.I.T scratch program a few weeks ago that i think is the same if not similar to the software used for the sense board. Looks pretty interesting. Ive never been one for programming but definitely looking forward to broadening my horizons.
