    New Laptop Help
    Hi TSR,

    I am looking for a new laptop that meet's the following requirements:

    1.) Has a good sound system
    2.) DVD Drive
    3.) Basic Microsoft Office Use
    4.) Fairly reasonable screen size
    5.) Not a dell / acer
    6.) Long battery life
    7.) Has option to increase/decrease the screen brightness
    8.) Long lasting

    Budget £400 (£500 if need be but try to stick to £400) - I have an advent which has been pretty good to me (SU2300 PREMIUM 13.3)

    Any suggestion's/link's would be really useful

    A quick google search will give you the perfect laptop according to your requirements. I would suggest the HP pavilion g6, it's pretty good

    if u ever need extra power for for intensive task than u need an i5
