How can I take A-Levels in a single sitting?
Long story short I want to get my A-Levels, I know the material more or less but I can't afford to go through two years at college to do the usual AS and A2 modules the way it's done in England.

Is there no way of doing the whole A-Levels in a more compacted amount of time?

There are intensive one year courses available at some places. You do the AS exams in January and then your A2 ones in June. As far as i know, you can't do a full A level any faster.

It would probably need to be ASs in January and A2s in June to avoid clashes. I don't know how you'd handle coursework. Don't rely on just knowing the material; being aware of how they're marked makes certain exams - mainly Chemistry - much easier.

Subjects with coursework would be tricky to organise, but otherwise you could just enter yourself as a private candidate and do the modules when you want. If you have the time and dedication, you could definitely get them done in a year. Either sit some modules in January, or take them all in June.

Thanks for all the replies. Just so I don't start another thread, can any of you suggest a board of examinations? I'm going for Math, Further Math and Physics. I'm not familiar with the main differences between AQA, Edexcel, OCR and such.

I Suggest these because they are easier than the others in those subjects

Go with the board with the lowest grade boundaries if you are really good at those subjects and tend to make mistakes, because, for instance, AQA is set up in a way that one mistake can sometimes cost you half a grade in Maths.
