Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'
What do we think of this folks?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...hley-Cole.html
Seems crazy that he is making this kind of comment so soon after the whole John Terry episode.
Hypocrisy. -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'
Rio Ferdinand is and always has been a complete and utter tit.
He's not even that good as a footballer, he's bitter, and the only reason Manchester United keep him is because Vidic decided to go and get injured. That and they want to keep things very sentimental.
Personally, I would just follow what some managers have done. I would just ban footballers from using Twitter. All it does is cause hassle and most of them are too stupid to watch what they say whilst they are in the public eye. -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'Well it was his brother that got verbally abused ya know ?(Original post by Banishingboredom)
How is Ashley Cole to blame for any of this. And why was Rio so desperate for John Terry to get convicted? -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'Yes but you can control posting it to millions online. Not to mention if you look at it is quite racist, its basically saying you're being the white bit which is bad.(Original post by Annoying-Mouse)
He laughed, so what? If a black person was called a bounty because he was acting like Carlton, I would laugh but I can also recognize the fact that it's bull****. Laughing is a reaction, a reaction you can't control. -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'You know nothing about football. Absolutely nothing.(Original post by Genocidal)

Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'Me too.(Original post by sugar-n-spice)
I haven't had one of em in ages -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'Depends on how close the phone is. People don't always think before they act, no one can do that 100% of the times because it's impossible. He didn't say it, he laughed at it. Comedians regularly make jokes about disabled, black, women, rape, murder etc and people laugh, rarely do they believe the joke.(Original post by rmpr97)

Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'This is a good point and most certainly piques my curiousity more than the superfluous 'racism' debacle.(Original post by sugar-n-spice)

Where have choc-ices gone? There was once a time where they were more of a regular fixture in my freezer than ice cubes. I used to get quite excited about the whole choc-ice eating experience. Some days I would bite into one and a large shard of the chocolate would come away, others only small fragments would come loose. -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'I probably know more than you. But then again what can I expect from someone who speaks from Manchester United?(Original post by DaveSmith99)
You know nothing about football. Absolutely nothing.
Rio Ferdinand: Tit, injury prone, racist, overrated, drink driver, can't even make the England team of today (and that's saying something), and the only reason he still plays for the team he does is for sentimental reasons. He wouldn't be on that team if he was looking to join it today.Last edited by Genocidal; 16-07-2012 at 12:20. -
Re: Rio Ferdinand and the 'choc-ice'I've got some in the freezer. They're seriously cheap, something like £1 for a box of 10.(Original post by Palatial Veranda)
