Skyrim. Gears of War 3 is uselesssssss and I hate Japanese games.

I havent played video games for nearly 2 years, and these are the ones that interest me but i cant decide

Well, one thing MGS has going for it is that you get 3 games for the price of one (5 if you count the old 8 bit Metal Gear games that come with MGS3). I think both MGS3 and MGS Peace Walker are better than MGS2.

But then again Skyrim might only be one game, but it has a huge amount of content.

Gears of War 3 is alright, but I'm not sure I'd say it's better than the first two, so you could just get one of those if you haven't played them before.

I'm a huge MGS fan, but if you're not a fan of MGS and don't like games predominantly driven by story and cut scenes, MGS is not for you.
Gears of War is a boring fest of boringness. Run, cover, shoot.

Skyrim is epic. Play Skyrim.

Gears of war is all about the multiplayer, the campaign is OK. And gears of war 3 doesn't have the best multiplayer, the first two were better even if the second one did have ridiculous lag.

The latest Gears of War installment is just awful and I don't play MGS so I can't really comment on that.

Play Sons of Liberty.

Because afterwards you will be able to play MGS3, which is unequivocally the greatest video game ever made.
