Looking for a new wardrobe of clothes/style in general!
I'm looking for a new wardrobe and i hope some of you lovely people on here could help me.

I've decided to put about £200-£250 spare for this, which is a chunk of savings i made before. I want to put this into good use, and something i will utilise, so what better than getting better fashionably. I'm white, 6 foot 2, fairly thin.

So if you're talking a few different possible combinations and where abouts do go looking for good quality, and affordable (can't have my whole budget go on some fantastic quality but incredibly expensive 3 piece outfit!

I really like the Mad Men style look at the moment. I have been sporting a combover for a while and is one hairstyle i have really got to like. Any other possibilities i could try for variety sake and for sake of if i like it more. Obviously my hair is quite long on top but fairly short on the sides as is the case of the combover cut.

I would prefer more formal styles. Not too casual. I feel better and work better when dressed in that sort of attire and so would lean that way really.

I really wouldn't know where to start, hence why i'm asking here, and my friends really aren't exactly fashionably dressed generally, so nowhere much to ask in real life.

    Really appreciate the replies

I recommend a cape, a top hat, relaxed fit silk shirts, sweatpants, sandals and Europe's "The Final Countdown" on CD.

I want to get a new look, such as something like this. Taken from banana republic. I'm gonna budget £400-£500 (upgrading from the previous figure) for a new wardrobe. If i bought that entire outfit as it is is from BR it already takes up nearly the entire budget. So any ideas where to get specific stuff cheap? Also i'm a student (going into last year of uni), used to dressing crappy in the past, this a good look for that? What sort of other combos should i look for if this is good?

Also it's 25% off at banana republic today so might look to get something good there today if something like that is not too common of a discount at br.

Its worth investing in decent quality shoes (£60+) and jackets (£100+).
The rest of your wardrobe you can just buy reasonably cheap items as long as you select carefully based on quality and cut. There is no reason to buy everything from somewhere like BR, that's madness.

Never buy individual outfits, buy versatile items that can be combined into a whole plethora of different outfits.

Nice dress for men, thank you for sharing. Today for women lot of dress models are available, but for men no that much of models when compared to the women. So the above dress was looking great, in this dress men are looking very professional and descent. For the men checks shirts are well suited.
