Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone was starting a PGCE in Aber this September, and if so have they sorted out Accommodation yet, I'm struggling!

Hi - I'm starting the PGCE English in Aber this September. I'm a mature student and struggling to find accommodation. Anyone in the same boat or know of any other students looking for accommodation?

Hi, I'm starting the PGCE in English at Aber this September too! Have you received accommodation packs from the Uni? I managed to secure a place straight away! I hope you find somewhere soon. Looking forward to September :smile:

I would suggest that you contact the Aber Uni Accommodation Office and explain your situation if you need a place:

Their contact details are at the bottom of the page and you can find out more information on their website (it is possibly too late for on campus accommodation).

Information about private sector accommodation is also available on the Aber Uni site, this includes an online database of available properties:

Failing that, check out EasyRoomMate, that's how I found my house, 13 months on I'm still living here!

If you continue to have trouble then I can give you the contact details for a number of estate agents if you haven't fished any out yourself. Accomodation in Aber is scarce, but if you don't have a place secured yet then there's still plenty of time!

It was ok, nothing unusual. Just a written task, a short presentation to the two people who interviewed me and then questioning.....

I don't really have any pointers..... I didn't think it went that well yet I still got a place....
