Looking for PG Flatmates September 2012!
    Hi,

I'm 23, female, starting MA International Relations at King's in Septmber. I'm looking for one or a few people to start a flat share with. My budget is a flexible 550pcm and I'm looking particularly in the south west i.e. Clapham, Balham, Wandsworth, Putney, Tooting Bec. Obviously willing to consider elsewhere also. I would like to share with people who want to be a bit sociable every now and then and are not going to be stuck in their rooms 100% of the time!

Would ideally like to be in a position to view and secure a flat shortly after the Olympics (I don't fancy trying to get around London whilst they're on!). If you think you'd like to share, please get in touch! Feel free to e-mail or add me on Facebook (I think this info is on my profile but if not just reply here).

    Hey Abbie,

I'm in a similar position - I'm starting an MSc in September - were you able to find anyone yet? I'm interested

    Hi Ayesha,

Thanks for your reply! No I haven't found anyone yet. As I say, I am avoiding London now until after the Olympics as I'm working on a theory that more flats will become available then after landlords are done raking it in with short-lets during that period... Here's hoping I'm not wrong!

Feel free to e-mail/Facebook me and we can keep in touch!

Did you apply for the kings accommodation? I m interested in sharing a house as well if kings haven't made me any offer at the end. The chance of they will allocate me an accommodation is quite low since i have studied in UK before. I will study MSc Financial Mathematics in Strand Campus and which campus are you usually going to attend the lectures? cuz i think the location where you choose in south west is a little bit far aways from all campus?

    Hi,

I am a french law student, starting at King's this september. I am currently searching an accommodation and think, just like arthurcan, that my chances are pretty low to get one from the King's Accommodation Service as I have applied pretty late. I'm 23 friendly & sociable student who likes having fun and parties but can also be hardworking when it comes to the exams. I'd love to find some pretty cool flatshare where everyone can get on well and have fun while studying. My budget is flexible (700pcm) and I'd be interested in central london, not so far from Temple.

Please let me know if you want to share more information in order to know if I am flatmate material

    Hi,

I am an American student (age 27) coming in for an MPhil/Ph.D. in history and I'm needing to look for accommodation as well. I applied to the university quite late and as such I imagine I may not have much luck getting housing. My budget will be about 400-500 pcm. I'm not sure on the neighborhoods yet but as long as the area is safe and has good public transport I'm flexible.

Please let me know if you're still looking for a flatmate and want to share info!

    Hi Abbie!

I am a 27 year old South African female starting a MA in Geopolitics at Kings. My budget and preferred area are pretty much the same as yours so am definitely interested! In an ideal world I would love to be in Clapham. I am living in Berkshire at the moment so am will be able to do viewings pretty easily, and had exactly the same though as you about the Olympics.

I am very sociable but prefer not to be in a party house.

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi,

My name is Emma I'm 23 from Northern Ireland and I am going to be starting a masters in neuroscience at KCL this Sept. I am currently looking for somewhere to live and would be interested in house sharing. My budget is a maximum of £600 pcm and my campus will be the Institute of Psychiatry in SE5 so I would be interested in living somewhere not overly far from this area. Let me know if you are still looking for possible housemates as I am very interested in meeting other PG students to live with.

    Thanks,

    Emma

Hi, I'm going to be studying International Relations- MA at King's from September. I'm 29, from Scotland, and would like to share a flat. I'm pretty easy going and am used to sharing. My budget's about 5-700, for something as near to the centre as possible, or with good transport links, as I'll be on the Strand campus.

I'm not sure how far in advance you need to look, as most of the flats I see now are available immediately, but I'll be in London around 22nd August.

Anyhow, if you're interested in sharing, please let me know.

    Hi,

I'm going to study Geopolitics at King's, too and am also looking for likeminded housemates! I'd be nice to have somebody sociable to live with.

Interest in arts, literature, music, history, politics or maybe just an affinity to good food and wine might be a reference point to start from !:-) (this is not exclusive, of course, not at all)

I will arrive in London most probably at the end of Aug..

would be happy to hear back from you!

Ah and my budget is also 400-550.
