I'm hopefully going to be studying Economics and Politics and was wondering whether anyone knows if you recieve 1 grade short of your requirements is that OK?

i think they are quite lenient on entry requirements but it depends on the uni your applying for.

Yeah thanks for your input and help.I'll have to stop worrying and whatever happens,happens. i think i will have to prepare myself for all possible outcomes and maybe start thinking of some persuasive techniques for results day.

Essentially, it will depend on whether or not they have any places left. If they have filled their quote already with people who met their offer, then you will be rejected. If they haven't filled their quota, then you may still get in.

Due to the large volume of applications to MMU in particular, they may be fairly strict on their entry requirements, but if you're one grade off you may be in with a chance if you phone them on results day and see if they will still accept you. There are no guarantees though, as you can imagine.
