    Hey!

It is very important that all students who are studying in York for six months or longer register with a General Practice in order to be able to receive advice and treatment through the National Health Service (NHS).

Please recomand a great general practice

    Thanks in advance!

The University Health Centre on campus, which you can register with as soon as you arrive, is the most convenient. Standard of care is very good as well.

As Moro said...In freshers week the university does a mass registration during freshers fair. It is easy to register and you should also be able to remain registered at home.

There is a doctors on Monkgate (near the city centre) which is very accessible. I've heard its really hard to get an appointment at the Health Centre, but the majority of students tend to register there.
