Sick of seeing the Head to Toe Superdry Clones
OK, so I need to get this off my chest. The anger has been building for many months now and it's focused on one brand-Superdry.
Superdry seems to have taken over the High Street and it has adopted a whole new set of clones with it. I counted yes counted the number of people in my college within the space of an hour in the wretched brand and it ran to double figures Double figures.
I saw someone in these yesterday I mean Superdry flip-flops please. You have paid over price for plastic flip flops.
Anyone who can defend this please- be my guest :P. -

I have one of their jackets, it does a great job of keeping me warm and dry whilst being well made, durable and reasonably priced. Great when living next to the sea and you can stick the collar up and protect from the wind.
Nothing more to it really.Last edited by CJ; 17-07-2012 at 12:06. -
Re: Sick of seeing the Head to Toe Superdry ClonesYou called?(Original post by Glow in the dark)
I think you need to go and have sex with a vicious strapping black male in a steamy location -
Tired of seeing walking Superdry adverts everywhere, and seems like every Tom, Dick and Harry wears Vans. And if you don't wear Vans or have some sort of designer item of clothing. Then there's something wrong with you :/
The bloody Superdry is expensive, and a complete rip off. An item that costs £75 in the uk from Superdry is sometimes $75 in the US. Same as Abercrombie and fitch, people that buy those clothing in the uk are getting ripped off, especially when you convert $75 to pounds. -

It's alright, they have good comedy value. They are our equivalent of the clothes with meaningless/hilariously wrong English on them that people wear in Japan. There's one superdry T-shirt which literally says like "Valley which dried dead bodies" in Japanese. Just let them wear it and smile lol

Re: Sick of seeing the Head to Toe Superdry Clones
I get what some people are saying about them actually making decent coats. Fair play to those people.
I think what the OP should be directing their rage at is people wearing the combination of:
-That oversized floppy hat, best described as a cotton ballsack
-Pukey beige chinos (extra points if they have elasticated ankle cuff bits)
-Those plimsoll abomination things that look horrific on guys (Toms I think they're called) -
Re: Sick of seeing the Head to Toe Superdry Clones
Why is everyone suddenly saying "does it matter?" and "who cares?" Why are we all now on high horses despite calling anyone who dares to purchase a pair of chinos a "chino ****er" for the past 12 months? You've all changed your tune. If a pattern forms in a thread within the first few posts, most people will then follow that opinion.
The OP is right and I don't see why anyone is slating her, it's a terrible brand but if you buy one of their items just because it's a nice item and does what you need then good for you, nothing wrong with that. -
Re: Sick of seeing the Head to Toe Superdry Clones
Some Superdry clothing is of a decent quality, but it is grossly overpriced. I only own one item, a shirt (which I've worn just the once) and I saw a very similarly designed shirt in Debenhams and perhaps even M&S but when you got up close, the quality was nowhere near as good. They were half/a third of the price though.
