Landlord put someone in my flat before let has ended - can I claim money back?
Here's the story. I have a let of a flat until 28th July, but I decided to move on the 1st of July and handed the keys back. I was still paying for the let up until to 28 July. After I have moved out, I have come to known that the landlord has let out the flat to someone else on the 6th of July. So, is it possible for me to get money back for the dates of 6 July - 28 July?

Probably not since it was your decision to move out, if you wanted to be awkward about it you could ask to move back in. Usually if a tenant decides to terminate the tenancy agreement early (as it appears you may have done) they will still be liable for the full amount of rent.
This site has some information that may be helpful. http://www.propertyinvestmentproject...ncy-agreement/
There is a chance that you could get some rent back, ask your landlord. -

This thread discusses it but there isn't really a definitive answer:

Essentially there's an argument that you have paid for exclusive access to the property until 28th July and that the landlord therefore should not be able to claim 2 sets of rent. However there is also the argument that you had abandoned your tenancy after the last rent period (29th May) and since rent is paid monthly you have forfeited the rest. -

Technically, the landlord does not have the legal authority to let out the property while you still have a valid lease. Although, if it was necessary, I think a judge would find that the landlord has an equitable power to do so. This is just a moot point though, because you've terminated the lease early, and have fully discharged your obligations.
