Re: What's your biggest uni worry?
Losing the motivation to study my subject halfway through the year.
At times i love my course and can't get enough, so i'll just cruise through the lecture notes and content. Then in stark contrast there are times where i get sick of the course and won't even bother turning up. -
Re: What's your biggest uni worry?I'm worried about the same things as you. Plus, I'm not sure how I'll cope without my family.(Original post by shevi)
Basically not fitting in: I'm a bit older, I'm from the EU and the course I'm about to do is pretty far out of my comfort zone. Especially that last bit. I do worry about failing and not being as smart as my peers.
Oh and come to think of it, living in halls with other people. Living by myself I can do but being around other people (pretty much) 24/7 is going to be a challenge. -

1) Not actually getting into uni. Grades feeling more like UUB
2) Not having any friends if i make it into uni.
3) Having horrible bitchy all female flat mates who hate me
4) Generally having flat mates who dont like me.
5) Feeling stupid next to people on my course.
6) Not fitting in at uni. Feeling like an out-cast
7) Starving / forgetting to eat, already a horrendous cook.
Cant think of anymore really.

Re: What's your biggest uni worry?
Everything
The culture shock, moving country, the uni system that is nothing like how I've been studying for the past 2 years, having to take care of myself and manage money and cook and not starve to death, Fresher's Week...
Though I already have my confirmed place, so I've already finished worrying about getting in. And that was my biggest worry by far. Now I'm nervous slash excited, rather than just stressed haha. -
Re: What's your biggest uni worry?
I have a lot of worries for university, but ill take it on the chin.
If it happens it happens, I won't let it change me. It's my life that is on the line and I won't let anyone ruin or change it.
At the end of the day, it's your future don't let people ruin it for you, don't let them crash and burn your career chances.
Remember life is tough. -

Re: What's your biggest uni worry?Yes. But with strangers, I'm so socially incompetent that I actually seem rude and anti-social. My closest friends often tease me about how when they met me they initially thought I was disinterested, when really I just don't know how to respond. My social skills run away and hide right when I need them most(Original post by Bubblegoose89)
Surely its comforting to see that so many people are worried about making friends.. Everyone is in the same boat
