Re: What's your biggest uni worry? This. Because I know I'll do exactly the same thing.(Original post by swbp)
Making friends with the wrong group of people. I'll end up forcing conversation with the most outgoing people on freshers, when in reality I should be talking to the shy girl in the corner who I probably have alot more in common with :/ -

What's wroong wae Scottish accents like?(Original post by Pen Island)
Not making friends really is such a big worry for me... I'm too damn weird and a bit awkward
Other main worry is sharing a flat with all females... Sounds weird but I just find it easier to talk to and get along with guys
Other worries
-Realising I hate my subject
-Finding it way to hard
-Getting lost (I am so bad with directions
)
Oh, and not being able to understand the Scottish accents!

Re: What's your biggest uni worry?
1. Food (they say food is different in different countries)
2. Not being able to speak English fluently at first.
3. Getting lost (my home town is small compared to the one I'll be going to)
4. Having financial difficulties.
.... and yea I have mixed feelings towards not finding friends .... -
Re: What's your biggest uni worry?I'd go mental if someone was smoking in the flat. I don't mind people who smoke, but don't do it in my home.(Original post by MutantGecko)
people stealing my food.
and if the flatmates smoke, smoking in the kitchen / living area cause im asthmatic and fag smoke triggers me really bad
i dont mind if im stood with a friend outside but i cant live with it :'(

Re: What's your biggest uni worry?
worried i will not have enough money to finish the course! Was made redundant from my job early and a few k short of where I wanted to be!

Also worried there will be lots of elitist people who will look down on me for being poor, working class.
Finally worried I will be dumber than everyone else there
-
Worried that I firstly don't get in, and then after that.. That No one likes me and I make no friends! So basically the same as everyone else! My uni is quite far from home ( around 5 hours on the train) so I won't be able to pop home anytime I like, so a little bit worried I get homesick! But apart from that ...I am really hoping I get in, because I am quite excited!
