    Selling jewellery box on eBay?
Essentially I have a silver plated jewellery box sat in my bedroom that I have barely used and is now gathering dust.

I've never used eBay before and I was just curious as to a) how to pack it b) what starting price to put and how to market it generally?

I've attached a picture =]Click image for larger version.

    Thanks!

edit; having taken that picture I have realised I need to work out how to take a picture without getting me/my laptop/my duvet reflected in the background.

hmm you prob have to wrap it in a lot of bubble wrap, put some inside the drawers aswell and then put in into a cardboard box and sellotape. I don't know about the pricing sorry. It's such a pretty jewellry box, I remember wanting one like it.

If you search something like 'silver jewellery box' on eBay and then in the drop down option where it says Lowest price first etc I think you can search by completed listings. That will give you an idea of the price they tend to go for.

As for packaging, a cardboard box with plenty of bubblewrap/polystyrene. You can charge postage separately on the listing so can cover your costs for packaging that way.
