I love tuna mayo sandwiches/ pasta salads. But whats your favourite way to have tuna? sandwiches, salads, steaks, jacket potato + tuna? and what do you put with it?

For sandwiches/ salads, I add; mayo, salad cream, spring onions, cucumber, peppers (preferably red) and sweetcorn, then mix it all together.

I leave it in the fridge for a little while, just to let the flavours mingle a bit.


I do like a tuna steaks though, but they easily dry up

I love tuna, but I have a sad tuna story. I was on holiday (13 or 14 years old) and had a tuna sandwich for lunch. I didn't realise that there were tuna shoals nearby, and I was going scuba diving that afternoon. The water was filled with them, and they were huge - I felt so bad

I love tuna steaks! My dad makes this amazing sauce with lemon and salt (and some other things that I can't currently remember) and it's just incredible!

I also like tuna and cucumber sandwiches (but not with sweetcorn) and tuna on my pasta, either with or without tomato sauce.

Jacket potatoes with tuna are good too

I've never got tuna salads though, I just don't find them that appealing.

Get some tuna from a can or something. Slap it in a bowl, add slices of onion and tomato sauce. Mix. Put on sandwich. Enjoy.

Ooh, I love tuna.

I like tuna and pasta - tuna, pasta, sweetcorn, onion, chopped tomatoes, just mixed together.

I made a tuna and lemon spaghetti once, with tuna, spaghetti, onion, chilli, garlic and lemon. Was lovely, so I would recommend that!

And tuna turnovers, if you haven't tried them! Basically pastry (or cheese pastry), put tuna filling in the middle (tuna, onion, mayo, sweetcorn, etc), fold pastry over, cook!

But sometimes you can't beat a tuna mayonnaise sandwich, or a jacket potato and tuna!

I like tuna.

I'm almost a veggie. there aren't many meats that I like and i do feel a bit bad about eating animals, but some of them are just so nommyful.

Nah, don't worry, I wasn't going all self-righteously vegan on your ass. Unfortunately many animals are quite 'nommyful' as you colourfully put it. It's just that I can't really do the taste of tuna too well, there's something about the aftertaste.

Saying that I could probably countenance a tuna steak if one presented itself to me.
