Yes of-course but i remembered when I tried purchasing cigarettes with my provisional licence in a petrol station and the women said they don't accept them... Are you ****ing kidding me?! lol

Unfortunately, as you can see above, somebody else made your mistake and tried to correct me. People should read things as written, rather than bend what I said into an error, and then criticise me for it. -

It used to be the case that you could get a provisional without proving your identity (i.e. sending off other forms of ID wasn't needed), which is why some places won't accept provisionals as ID, I'll assume it's something to do with their licensing. The vast majority of places WILL accept a provisional, but I've used this argument with shops, and they've gotten higher authority and eventually accepted a provisional, especially when I pull out my 500 other identity documents (university card, bank card, NUS card etc etc). -
