Re: How to you deposit a cheque?
take it to the bank that you bank with. fill in a paying-in slip (you will find these in the bank) - something like this (where it says reference though you just put your name), and on the right and left you fill in the bit where it says "total cheques" not "total cash" with how much the cheque is worth
go to a counter, and hand the cheque and the paying in slip together, and say you want to pay your cheque in.
And that's it. Get a receipt if you want one. -

So I can essentially just use it like cash in terms of paying into my account? -

Ive never seen the thing in pinkmobilephones post. Your probably best going to a counter than the automatic machines.
Hane the cheque in with the card or book for the account you want the money to go into. Im not sure how long it is before it's properly in Your account though. Anyway you get a receipt, so you can prove you paid it in, if it doesn't add to your balance. But i've never had this problem.
this is a simple thing, but something you never think about until you need to do it, then you're like
