Pretty happy with my current squad:

    De Gea -- Ruddy

    Ivanovic -- Koscielny -- Ivanovic -- Vidic -- Tomkins

Arteta -- Holman -- Carrick -- Hoilett -- Ben Arfa

Podolski -- Aguero -- Vaz Te.
Pretty sick having Ivanovic twice. Btw, i reckon there's better options than carrick as hes a defensive midfielder really

    Haha, I meant Lescott.

May well edit later, but for the price he's one of the best options IMO.

Couple of gambles but the team name for both leagues is Multiple Scorgasms.

    Krul Begovic
    Kaboul Coloccini Koscielny Williams Barnett
    Valencia Toure Kagawa Ramires Britton
    Graham Rooney Torres

Love your username :ahee:. I always go for 4 full backs and a centre half; more chances of assists alongside the odd goal or two.

Will you be getting Petric or Hangeland from the start?

Well there tend to be more clean sheets if using rotation. My concern was over De Gea; he could easily be rested or miss games, so he could spend an extra 0.5m to get cover for this.

    So either:

    a) Spend money and get a keeper to play every single game (only Hart or Cech for me)

    b) Rotate two cheaper keepers (but this is hard to judge at the start).

Whereas Unwise was owning two keepers, one of which will never play, and the other could easily sit out games. Lindegaard actually came in for a few of Utd's easy home games last season.
Yes Lindegaard did come in when De Gea went on a terrible run. De Gea came back and was simply sublime. Can't see us dropping de Gea just yet.

Neither, I picked Riise cos he's always a solid choice. I'm risking Vaz Te up front and Vertonghen at the back.

I'm surprised at how few have selected Vidic. Should I be?

Same price as Evra who will play more games and will almost definitely score more points

If Vidic is fully fit and gets to full form he will be the top scoring defender, but after such a long injury I'm not sure he will be the same. He'll undoubtedly have lost a couple of yards of pace and I wouldn't be surprised if he became much more injury prone. Also he may be less popular as nobody really knows if he will be fit to play the first game.

Jones could get a lot of points this year, I've got a feeling he'll be played in Midfield or RB for the majority of games.

United have 5 first choice centre-backs rotating but only Evra at leftback currently. Plus the fact that Evra is very attacking means he tends to rack up the points assist-wise

True but teams don't usually rotate their captains, and Vidic is undoubtedly the bigger goal threat.

Only 8 days to go now. I would've thought there would be more people talking about their squads. Is anyone confident on their 15 yet?

I think i've got my goalkeeper combo sorted. Going to go with De Gea and Federici.

I haven't changed my team in a while, fairly confident with things so far. Swaying towards this 'Torres + 2m -> Rooney' idea, which I really didn't want to do.

Same i think. I'll be starting with 3 chelsea but need to get rid of 2 by GW 3. Likely to be Torres and the defender.

I think you'd be a fool not to have three Chelsea players - you're asking for trouble by not having that many. Just hard to decide which ones, and they need to be picked so they can easily be gotten rid of. Even for 4 points, it's still worth having them as they get the extra 2 just for playing, so worth the risk.

The £2m gives an easy way of removing Torres so this is only a good thing
