Hey Guys;

Well, I am thinking of ordering an item from Amazon.com (America) and would like to know how much the delivery would cost. It is a watch and weighs less than 1kg including packaging.

How much would an approximate cost be to ship from United States to United Kingdom?

The reason I am ordering from Amazon.com instead of Amazon.co.uk is because you can buy the exact same item from America for about £80 cheaper. Thanks. =)

You can check via going to the checkout click which ever delivery option you want and then on the final page before actually ordering it will tell you.

I don't think you can order from Amazon.com, I tried it ages ago. They just direct you back to .co.uk unless it's different now...

Since its from outside the EU you'll probably have to pay customs charges when you receive the item which could cost you quite a lot, maybe more than the difference of buying it in the UK.

It usually says in a box in the top right corner. Or you can click on order and it'll tell you at some point, before you have to actually place the order.

HOLY, your right!
I want to buy two of these things for a couple of friends and the customs alone costs over £80!
Total to get into this country = £107 more!

Thanks for telling me about that I think I may order from France or somewhere. I know I can find it cheaper if I order from outside the UK but within the EU.

Have you seen it? I notice that i said top left corner, but it's in the top right corner. It has the place an order button and has the price plus P&P.

Would like to thank you lot for pointing out customs charge!
Am thinking of ordering from Spain instead. With delivery charge of €15, I still get it like about £30 cheaper but still.

I completely forgot about customs, I think you guys saved me a fair few quid!

Well guys, I am getting these watches from Spain now!
Total cost in pounds from UK (inc delivery) = £291.80
Total cost in pounds from Spain (inc delivery) = £217.77

Money Saved = £74.03
