    INTERNET HELP PLEASE!!! really easy!!!
ok hey guys, i have limit on my boradband so i was wondering if i wanted to stream a TV show... for example... if i went to some other house and clicked on the tv show and the streamed video had everything downloaded... you know when the black bar or whatever at the bottom of the player goes grey (e.g like when it goes grey in youtube) to show that the show is "downloaded"

then went home and watched the show at home... would it redownload it again? would i be "charged" data? because i could do this in advance like with 5 episodes... then watch them at a later date??? like a week later??? if i didn't exit the browser???

if you need to know my browser it is either mozilla or chrome depending on which one i click

ooh I doubt it.. if It's already downloaded then I believe you can watch the entire video whilst not connected to the internet at all on that webpage, since it has already buffered..

Someone correct me if im wrong.

if the videos fully loaded then you don't even need to be connected to the internet to watch it, so i'd imagine it'd work yes. You wouldn't have to use your internet for anything.

Assuming it's been stored. If not then it'll need to be re-downloaded.

If you have downloaded it you can watch it as many times as you like.

If you've streamed it on your browser than it shouldn't charge any more data once it's buffered completely, so as long as you have that same browser open continuously without turning it off it should be fine, but should you refresh than it'll buffer again.

But if you downloaded the video for the tv show as a file onto your computer than it won't charge data whenever you open it.

The buffered data is stored on temp files. So if you don't close or refresh your browser it will work. But it is better to:

    1. Use an extension/addon for your browser like "video download helper" and download it that way to your HD.

    2. Use firebug (firefox), or element inspector (chrome) to see what is the url of the video file is → copy it and paste it so you will permanently download it to your HD.

    3. Use VLC open media → insert url of the video → stream like you would do on your browser

And, don't forget to change Power management settings, last thing you want to see is your PC hibernating and stopping the download/buffer
ok guys i tried both flashbox and video download helper and it downloads any video, even youtube, as a windows movie maker corrupted file??? .flv it is called... am i doing something wrong??

you know you could just disconnect your internet connection to test out the theory.
