    system fan noisy
pls I would require help with troubleshooting a particular system on my network here, It boots okay and functions well but I suspect that a problem is looming, particularly because of the noise it is making coming from the system fan. I dont know if there is a rzn for it. pls if anyone could help me, I'd be greatful.

First try clearing any dust of it - that usually helps.

If it really bothers you install speedfan and you can adjust the speed of the fan - this may possibly cause overheating though.

you talking about the big heatsink with the fan attached?

The only reason it would be making that much noise is because of the heating, did you take it off by any chance?
