    Seriously need help.
    Right, this is my problem:

    I am an Orange customer.

On Sunday 15th of July, not only did I upgrade my phone, but I also transferred the account from being under my mother's name to being under my name.

I have just received my new phone with a new sim card.

Having put in my sim card, the phone (samsung galaxy S2) keeps telling me that there is no network, although I was told that I would get a temporary number for this new sim card whilst waiting for my old number to transfer.

    What do I do?

Have you phoned orange? Have you taken it out of "airplane" or "offline" mode?

Call them or go into an orange shop and ask!

Try putting your old sim in the new phone.

Also, does wifi work on the phone? If not, then your phone might be in airplane mode in which case it won't recognize sim. Also, sim could be locked. best bet is to call carrier.
