That to me is an erroneous and unsupported comment which I take nothing from :/ -
****ing trolls, ****.(Original post by JayTeeKay)
It's a shame people don't study for an exam about trolls and how not to feed them :/

Re: Are these GCSE results spectacular?
Is your burning ambition to study Medicine at the University of Birmingham?
A) No. You're absolutely fine and good luck for results day.
B) Yes. You may need a new ambition I'm afraid.
Given B is quite unlikely your results are very good.Last edited by roh; 26-07-2012 at 09:23. -
You've been negged because your 'bad results' are outstanding!
Yep TSR rep is a complicated thing, people neg you for opinions and asking advice, save it for the racist arrogant *******s I say.
Anyway back to the point - those results are incredible, and once you do a-levels they lose some worth. Just make sure you dedicate yourself to the alevels, I didnt revise for any of my gcse's did great and wow was I shocked when I did my first AS levels. Be prepared for D's and C's :-D

Re: Are these GCSE results spectacular?
Do you seriously talk like you type? No offence, but I would find you incredibly irritating to be around if you do!
Op I can't tell if you are being serious or not but if you are just don't worry. In the scheme of things gcses don't matter. However, if you want us to say that you're amazing for getting 5A* with no work or to tell you it's okay to not work hard then you're not going to hear it. I'm afraid you have to be grown up and accept that what's done is done. -

Stop being such a show off. "So sorry for the way I've articulated this". How pompous do you sound?! You know you're doing exceptionally, you just want an ego stroking.
You're brilliant. Want to know what I got at GCSE? 6Bs, 5Cs, 1D. No As! OMG!
There, I did it. You are just like those girls on fb tha whine OMG I'm so faaaaaaaat, posting an ultra-glam picture of themselves.

Agreed. They are perfectly fine results and I am sure anyone in your position would be enjoying their Summer Holidays without any worries. I, myself, am getting around the same as you, but had far higher predicted grades, but teachers ten to either give you one grade higher to push you further, or one lower. So be happy(Original post by buchanan700)

Re: Are these GCSE results spectacular?
I went to a boys grammar school, and left after A levels.
One of my friends had 13A*s at GCSE, and went to a university which is not in the top 15.
ALso once you start working on your A levels, you'll realise how GCSE's arent worth that much. They are an entrance to the next level - that is sixth form or college. Employers don't care about GCSE's unless tehy are worse than C. -
Re: Are these GCSE results spectacular?
question- was he super confident that he got 13 a* or was he surprised, because my results are coming and i'm just ....
i think 13 a* are great but i think it's all a cycle, good gcse's= entrace to good sixth form, then you work hard for good a levels, good a levels= good uni (plus other skills)= good cv, the rest is you.
Employers do care about gcse's in this competitve work environment, it's important now.

hahaha I hear redbull are being naughty
