    Swansea Uni for Exchange students
I am going to Swansea Uni as an exchange student and I am wondering about a few things. Since there are two official languages in Wales i want to know if everybody communicates in English, or Welsh ( most importantly students ). Another aspect i find interesting that i did not see being discussed is The girls ( looks and attitude)

Ha, don't worry everyone will speak english. The english probably outnumber the welsh anyway.

Jaime is right. Most Welsh speakers speak English anyway, though I think the university does try to accommodate their learning in either language to some degree.

But yes, the majority of all students will have English as a first language!

I just do not want to be cast out in some way if such a language barrier exists. ( like in Holland for example, everyone can speak English, but people rarely do )

They only speak welsh in west (Carmarthen and further west) mid (Aberystwyth) and north Wales, you'll be lucky to find people who speak welsh in Swansea to be honest lol

Iechyd da! I love my country
