    Targeted by flying insects.
Earlier this evening I was at my mate's house with another friend. We were chilling in his garden, but my skin started to get really itchy when all the flying insects started landing on me. It was really ****ing annoying. One of them felt like such a badass it landed on the back of my head and bit me, leaving a lump which left a bit of blood on my finger if I touched it.

They only bothered me, not my two mates. I'm convinced that this attack was racially motivated cos I is Asian innit. Lol I kid, but seriously though, is there a reason why some people are more prone to insect bites than others?

Before anyone asks, yes, I did take a shower before I left the house today; I shower every day.

I know that if I sleep bundled up with three layers of clothing and blankets in a tent with five naked people, I will still have more mosquito bites than the happy naturists.

The hypothesis I have is about blood type. Certain blood types might be sweeter or more attractive to bugs than others. Also, how smelly your skin is. Sure, sure, you had a shower ..etc, but your body gives off odours all the time. Some people smell tastier to insects than others. At least that's my guess.

These factors aren't necessarily hereditary: my brother is not a total insect magnet.

Then again, perhaps you're a mutant and those bugs were sent by an evil person to collect blood samples of your rare and powerful DNA. [That's what I console myself with when I realize I've destroyed a sizable amount of my surface skin(Sh, is there any other kind of skin? --')].
