Creative writing: Warwick v Glasgow??
Hi all,
I'm tossing up studying creative writing at either the University of Glasgow or the University of Warwick for the 2012/2013 academic year. I've received offers from both, and trying to choose is proving mightily difficult!!
Can anyone out there give me some indication as to which uni is more prestigious/has a better reputation (generally and/or for creative writing), both in the UK/Europe and abroad??
Cheers! -
Re: Creative writing: Warwick v Glasgow??
I've been accepted and confirmed my place at Warwick for MA Writing. I chose it because of the staff is full of accomplished writers, and the format of the course, and its content was exactly what I was looking for.
Compare what you will actually be learning (i.e. modules) and who will be teaching at either university, and that should clear things up. It all depends on what you want to get out of the MA, and where you want to go with it.
